Calchaqui Valley Argentina Antonio Galloni Vinous 93 Rating The 2018 Malbec, 100% Calchaqui Valley was 1/3 raised for a year in barrels of various ages. Violet in the glass with a slight glow, the aromas of plum and blueberry with licorice and balsamic traces, beeswax and a hint of violet. The excellent palate is both fleshy and juicy and maintains both its volume and easygoing nature even with the active tannins guiding the way. A red best drunk in a couple of years. Must be ordered.
